Colour treated hair

Colour-treated hair requires special care as regularly applying permanent and semi-permanent colourants weakens the hair; damaging the cuticle (the outer covering of individual strands) and breaking down it's elasticity.

The Hypact range is designed specifically to combat these problems, with gentle moisturising shampoos, conditioners, styling and finishing products containing protective proteins which will help minimise fading and reduce dryness.

It is most important to follow with a conditioner every time you wash colour-treated hair, as during each shampoo the cuticle of the hair is opened to allow cleaning. By using a conditioner it moisturises, smooths and seals the cuticle layer and prevents the colour fading. Try using cool water to rinse your hair as this also closes the hair cuticles.

Use of a colour shampoo and conditioner system such as Color Revive will boost your colour maintenance and keep your hair shiny and in superb condition, and use of Sunpact will protect your colour treated hair from the sun, sea and swimming pool.
