Frizzy hair

Frizzy hair is mainly caused by a lack of moisture and is the most challenging hair type to control. For hair to be in good condition it must have a moisture level of 8% or above yet most sufferers of frizzy hair only register as having 2% to 3% moisture.

Hair colourants and excessive use of heat styling products deplete the hair of moisture. For those with curly, permed, wavy and coarse hair these types are prone to frizzy hair.

Dry, frizzy hair is hard to handle and frustrating to manage as it breaks easily, is impossible to tame and takes on a life of its own - this is your hair"s way of telling you it is not getting enough moisture.

Always use shampoos and conditioners specifically created to add moisture. Look for products containing jojoba oil as this penetrates each hair follicle adding much needed moisture. Also use products containing nutrient rich botanicals to add essential vitamins.
